Happy Hump Day, Friends! I've been trying to shoot Liv's nursery for the past couple days (it's done!), but we've had nothing but clouds and storms over here. There's finally sunshine in the forecast today, so we should have good light for snapping photos...and some much needed playtime outdoors. Hallelujah!
I should have the nursery post up tomorrow, so in the meantime I wanted to share the easiest tip for inexpensive jewelry. I've been on the hunt for a long pendant necklace (or five). I think they are really versatile and can easily dress up a basic tee or compliment a dressier look....but I also like options and didn't want to blow the budget on several necklaces.
One trip down the Hobby Lobby jewelry aisle and I knew we were in business! Let me preface this by saying that I am not a jewelry crafter. I admire those who are, but I don't have those skillz. And, I'm lazy. So, this needed to be a very easy and budget friendly solution.
I started by hitting up the Target clearance section. I wasn't looking for something my style, just a necklace with the perfect length chain. I lucked out by finding this blingy peacock number on the left for around $7.00 and the chain was just right.
I grabbed the other two on the right from Hobby Lobby. One was $4.99 and the other was $2.99....and they were 50% off..BOOM! Clearly they are not precious stones here, but they are a really nice quality.
You don't have to limit your selection to the pendants either. These dangles used for earrings could easily be used as a pendant...as long as it has the loop to slide on the chain.

All worked great with the chain borrowed from the peacock necklace....
So many possibilities!

And bonus - there's two! One for you and one for a friend. So easy and so fun!
Thanks so much for reading! We would love to hang out!
